Hola Amigos,

Last time I told you about my experience at the airport of Bogota while I wanted to leave to Mexico. This time I want to write a little bit about my experience afterwards….
I was in total 5 days in Mexico (Mexico City, Puebla and Monterrey). It was a really busy time because I had a national flight as well as a bus trip from Mexico City to Puebla. At the end of my business trip (Friday) I was looking forward to return to Bogota to relax a little bit. Of course I was a little bit afraid that I will have problems another time with the Visa when I will enter Colombia but everything went fine this time. I received another stamp (Visa) and I still don’t know how many days I’m permitted to stay (official) in Colombia this time. Nevertheless when I arrived in my apartment I took a nap because I had to be fit for the weekend program with friends here.
In the evening I met friends of mine and I had some small problems (at this time) with my stomach. Ok, I thought with the first beer the problem will disappear. Unfortunately after the second I felt quite bad. I changed to Coca Cola zero but it was already to late. At around 1 a.m. I couldn’t even stand straight because of the pain. I went out of the club and took the next taxi to my apartment. Frankly speaking I couldn’t remember to the taxi trip because I had already fever at this time too. At my apartment I ran immediately to the toilet to minimize the pressure. After that I was lying in my bed with fever, headache, pain in the limps and completely dizzy. In my delirium I made a resume what happened to me and why. Of course the first thought was that I have H1N1. I was in Mexico, visited many people,…… The whole world is talking about this virus and know I have it also! In my delirious with fever your thoughts are much worse. I was thinking that I have to go to a hospital and nobody will understand me. They will ask me a lot of questions and I could only point with my finger to my stomach to show them that I have problems. I can tell there a some situations in your life (and it doesn’t depend how old are you!) where you want be with you mom and this was such a situation for me. I just wanted to have my mom here in my apartment.
This night was endless long for me because I couldn’t sleep. I took some medicine but it seemed that it didn’t work. The next morning arrived and I was still awake but the fever was over. My body became better and better and I returned to the real live.
This experience which I gained is called “the revenge of Montezuma”. Frankly speaking it makes you crying for your mom.
Saludos de Bogota
